It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

One of my favorite things about the holidays are outdoor Christmas lights - little twinkling pinpoints of light like stars falling from the sky and adorning the eaves. For me, there is nothing more festive than driving around at night admiring the lights that people have placed on their houses and in the yards. (This is a picture of our house at night - too bad you can't see the fence on the side or the mailbox - it's lovely! We need a panoramic camera!)

Our neighborhood is really getting into hanging Christmas lights for the holiday - much to my delight! Some neighbors go all out and I've noticed that we even add a little more as the years go by.

The other night, we took a little drive around the neighborhood and what to my wondering eyes should appear but house after house adorned with thousands of shining little bulbs! Oh, I just love the holidays!!

Your house looks great and I love the lights. Did you see the light show that I put on my blog? It's in Tennessee.
I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas.
Hugs,
Nan

Jen & Rob,
I love your house and the lighting makes it so special.
But notice, and I am sure you will agree that a softly backlit port window in center gable would make the place pop.
